Naxos Ferries: There are several ferries connections to Naxos
Island Greece
Naxos Island becomes a
popular destination. In summer, several Naxos ferries daily leave
the port of Piraeus and Rafina.
There are also frequent connections to other islands: Amorgos, Anafi,
Diafani, Fourni, Ikaria, Ios, Samos, Katapola, Koufonisia, Mykonos,
Paros, Rhodes, Santorini, Schinousa, Skiathos, Syros, Tinos, but also
to Crete and Thessaloniki.
From the port of Piraeus (Athens’ main port), Naxos Island is reachable
in around 7 hours with the classical ferry and 3 hours with the high-speed.
In summer time, there is also a daily high speed boat service from
the port of Rafina (one hour drive from the centre of Athens and the
nearest port from the Airport) that makes 3 hours to reach the island.
