are two famous beaches in Naxos island on which are located clubs which propose rentals
of quality and courses: Mikri Vigla and Agios Georgios
The Mikri Vigla Club is the ultimate naxos windsurf club on the island.
Directly on the beach of Mikri Vigla in Naxos, the club offers the
perfect conditions to enjoy your favorite water sport. No shorebreak,
warm water, constant wind sideshore, the conditions inside the Mikri
Vigla bay are very safe.From may to october, 9.30-19.00 every day,
the club's team will take care of you.
Towards the west of the island is beautiful bay of Mikri Vigla in
Naxos washed by the dreamy warm water and swept by the reliable consistent
wind.
The bay of Mikri Vigla in Naxos Greece has some of the strongest
winds in the Cyclades, created by a venturi that is formed by the
squeeze caused by Naxos and the neighbouring island of Paros.
Due to the cross onshore direction of the wind, the windsurfing
conditions are safe within the bay; on the outside the swell forms
perfect ramps.
Our windsurf center is right on the water edge and not hidden in
any hotel’s basement, located in the best place of the 1,2 km length
lagoon at the end of Agios georgios, the central beach of Naxos
island.
Your gear will be waiting for you rigged up and in a minute you
will hit the water. At our windsurf center you will find band new
gear from F2 and North Sails rigs for rental by the hour, daily
or weekly. Windsurf gear cover a wide range from wave to big freeride
boards as sails from 3.6 to 8.1 qm.
All equipment are always in perfect condition and checked continualy.
We always have more boards and sails than guests so that you will
find your own perfectly suited combination of gear for each and
every of your windsurfing need’s.
Naxos Windsurf: The surfing paradise for beginners, advanced or cracks!
Naxos is situated in the heart of the Aegean Sea and offers an unique
"Kombirevier" with waves and shallow waterlagoons.
We have the right thing for every level. Two Surf centers are available
to enter the unique Kombirevier. From the marbled courtyard of the
Flisvos Surf center you go into the wave area situated directly
next to the Beach Cafe. With 4-5 Bft it is ideal for Slalom Boards
and with 6 Bft it is ideal for wave freaks. Then there are waves
that are between 1 and 2.5 m high, that break at offshore riffs.
In 2 to 3 hits/ strokes (Schlagen) you can surf in our shallow water
lagoon and let it rip.
At the Lagoon Surf center that is 400m away you go directly into the
shallow water area (Stehrevier). This is ideal for beginners and the
advanced to get first contact with surfing or to perfect your abilities.
It is also ideal for speed or manoeuvre freaks. Through a marked passage
it is possible for the advanced to surf into the wave area. Most of
the time the wind blows from the right side onshore. (see also at

Plaka-watersports club is located in the middle of the longer and most beautiful beach of Naxos , called Plaka.
Due to the natural structure of the waterbed it’s the perfect place for every kind of water sports.
Windsurfers will find here excellent conditions for slalom and speed inside…. jumps and wave riding outside, without limits because of the side offshore wind direction.
Without shore break, the conditions are ideal for the whole family and for those who want to practice.
In every case safety is our first concern. Our two motorboats are there for supporting the windsurfers, whether they are clients or not. Everybody is welcome to enjoy windsurfing with the strong wind conditions which are formed from the famous MELTEMI wind.
And for the windless days boredom is not an option: such water sports like waterskiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, parasail, banana ride, tubes, canoe round or snorkeling excursion with our motorboats will keep you in shape until the wind is back. Enjoy water sports and beach volley, relax and watch the sunset with a drink in the beach bar, every day in the beach from May to October, 10.00-19.00.
